I washed all of her clothes and tried to use a make-shift clothes line because I don't want her clothes to fade! Wanted to make sure they were all clean and ready to go! I don't know how long this hanging out business will last!!
Her closet floor filled with items we have gathered to take with us on the trip! I have many lists! Still need to do alot of shopping!

Rebecca Campbell was so sweet to give of her time to come over and use her artistic ability in decorating Kinsley's room!

Getting her room ready!
Butterflies hanging from the ceiling and Kinsley's name above her bed! Turned our great!

I love this corner of her room! Can't wait to read story books to her -- note the pink flower measuring board on her wall to mark her growth! I marked my growth on our closet door when I was little.

We used all of the spare materials!

Could not have done this without Rebecca!

Getting her little rocking chair painted and ready to use!

Getting her room ready! Painting her bed!

Above are the items we sent Kinsley in her care package to the Orphanage. We also included candy and gum etc. for the care-takers.
On September 14, 2010 we finally received our final document from Homeland Security! On Sept 16th our Consulate appointment was confirmed for Oct. 19 2010 in Guangzhou, China. We learned our "Gotcha Day" will be on Monday Oct. 11, 2010! We have booked our flights and will be leaving on Oct. 6th. We will arrive early to rest up for the big day! Our total travel time to China will be 33 hours and 10 minutes!
